Contact Duane
Duane was raised in a Christian home, and accepted Jesus as his personal savior
when he was nine years old. Duane's wife, Jane, and their two children are also
Christians.Duane began using illusion as a performing vehicle in 1973. He left a position in purchasing for a steel mill to become a full-time performer in 1995.
Duane has performed for many religious denominations. He is recommended by Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, and other denominations as a superior entertainer. Whether he is performing magic, or music, Duane always maintains a Christian perspective and high standards. His shows are always family oriented and kid-friendly.
when not performing, Duane spends his time researching material for and writing books. His first book, What Living by Faith Really Means, is being edited in preparation for publication. It contains five years of research and untold hours of writing.
A typical church-oriented show consists of 45 minutes of illusion and mystery, containing all the elements of a professional show, with birds appearing from nowhere, audience participation, and an electric sawing-in-half on a member of the audience. Each show is tailored to fit your particular needs.
After the show, Duane occasionally delivers a talk, based on his book, about what it really means to live each day by faith. A professional performer never knows beyond today what life will hand him. He must learn to rely totally upon the grace of God.
Another topic of discussion involves an explanation of the difference between the world of illusion, and the world of real magic. Duane also explains the difference between magic and miracles. With almost 30 years of experience as a professional magician/entertainer, and almost as much time spent researching the world of the occult, Duane brings a unique and authoritative perspective on many topics, including astrology, psychics, and UFO's.
Duane also performs for Blue and Gold Banquets for the Cub Scouts. Duane's show comes complete with lights, sound, curtains, music, assistants, and anything else necessary to make your function everything it needs to be.
